SO, WHAT IS THE FELLOWSHIP OF CHURCHES?
The MorningStar Fellowship of Churches (MFC) was founded with the purpose of providing a place for strengthening, equipping, covering and fellowship of local churches. Among the leadership counsel of MFC and within the MFC network, there is a rich strength of grace, wisdom, and experience available to assist the MFC affiliates.
BELOW IS A BRIEF HISTORY
How We Started
Rick Joyner founded the MorningStar Fellowship of Churches (MFC) in 1995. This network of churches provides a place for strengthening, equipping, covering and fellowship. It is vital for churches to have relationships with other congregations to add balance and perspective; for without this connection there is danger of becoming isolated and self-seeking. Our network of churches provides cross pollination and promotes the development of relationships. Our greatest privilege is to serve the Lord with grace, dignity and integrity befitting the King of Kings.
How We Look Today
God has developed a tribe-like identity within MFC. A company of churches with regional prophetic influence has emerged through the efforts of our MFC members. These churches conduct regional prophetic roundtables to “hear what the spirit is speaking to the church” and to assist in the restoration of the true prophetic and apostolic ministry! This company of overcomers is bound together with love and devotion to the Lord and to each other. They guard the purposes of God in this generation and are devoted to see His will fulfilled in their generation and the generations to come!
The Future
Ask of me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance!” Prov 2:8 The church at large is poised to see the glory of God fill the earth. Our MFC churches are excited to be a part of this end time commission and we stand ready to connect with key leaders throughout the nations to help usher in a restoration of the true prophetic and apostolic ministry to the last day church. This “new breed” of leaders is currently being woven together throughout the nations of the earth. Our MFC network is privileged to be a part of this elite company of people that is bound together in love, friendship, mission, and commission to prepare the church for the return of the Lord!
